Our Story
Born Where Pearls Begin
LumiSerene began with a childhood surrounded by pearls.
I was born and raised in Zhuji, Zhejiang — the heart of China’s freshwater pearl industry. Growing up, some of my earliest memories were watching my grandmother care for pearls with patience and dedication.
She taught me that beautiful things are never created overnight.
Like a pearl, they are shaped slowly through time, care, and resilience.
From her, I learned that pearls are more than natural treasures. They carry stories, memories, and the emotions of the people who wear them.
From Zhuji to the World
Later, I moved to the United States to continue my studies.
Living in a different culture allowed me to see jewelry in a new way. I discovered that women around the world wear jewelry not only for special occasions, but also to celebrate their personal journeys — confidence, growth, new beginnings, and moments of self-love.
That experience inspired me to bring the pearl heritage I grew up with to modern women everywhere.
